Walk in Door Fee
If you are not pre-registered for the class, there will be a $10 walk in fee. You can avoid the $10 walk in fee by purchasing a ticket online, or pre-registering via email registration@educationsinhair.com, or via phone 815.412.0143 at least 24 hours before the start of the class.
Cancellation & Reschedule Policies
Live Show Reschedule/Cancellation Policy:
Any rescheduling or cancellation requests must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled live show via phone {815.412.0143} or email {registration@educationsinhair.com}. There will be no charge for rescheduling your ticket the first time. If you need to reschedule more than once there will be a $30 rescheduling fee for each time it is rescheduled. If cancellation request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled live show 70% of purchase price will be refunded. If you submit a cancellation request within the 24 hours of the show or after the show date, no refund will be issued.
Virtual Zoom Live Class Reschedule/Cancellation Policy:
Any rescheduling or cancellation requests must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class via phone {815.412.0143} or email {registration@educationsinhair.com}. You may reschedule your ticket one time. There will be charge for rescheduling one time. If you submit a cancellation request within the 24 hours of the show or after the show date, OR simply don’t attend the scheduled class, no refund will be issued.
Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault or Sexual Harassment Cancellation Policy:
Due to the high demand of these classes for renewal, no refunds will be given for cancellations or not attending the domestic violence class you registered for. If you would like to reschedule, your reschedule request must be received via email 14 days prior to the class {registration@educationsinhair.com} and you may reschedule only 1 time.
Hands On Class Reschedule/Cancellation Policy:
Any rescheduling or cancellation requests must be received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled hands on class via phone {815.412.0143} or email {registration@educationsinhair.com}. There will be no charge for rescheduling your ticket the first time. If you need to reschedule more than once there will be a $50 rescheduling fee for each time it is rescheduled. If cancellation request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled class, 40% of purchase price will be refunded. If you submit a cancellation within the 24 hours of the class 20% of the purchase price will be refunded. No calls / no shows will not receive a refund of any amount.
Home Studies Cancellation Policy:
There will be no refunds issued for paper or online home studies purchased.
Private Class Cancellation/Reschedule:
Any rescheduling requests must be received at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled private class via phone {815.412.0143} or email {registration@educationsinhair.com}. If you need to reschedule there will be a fee of $100 as these classes and available dates are in high demand. If you need to reschedule more than once we have the right to refuse a second reschedule, and any payments (including fees) may not be eligible for a refund. If you need to cancel your private class, any payment (including fees) are not eligible for a refund.
Certificates of Completion
Certificates of completion are earned through attending live classes and completing the exit form at the end of the session. This form will be completed near the end of the class and must be submitted in order to receive your certificate of completion. This exit form serves as a way to help proof to the IDFPR that you were in attendance during the class if you should be audited. Certificates will not be sent out via email or USPS if the exit form is not completed.
All earned certificates of completion will be emailed typically 5-7 business days after the class.
If you would prefer a paper copy of your certificate, there will be a $10 for each copy required.
CERTIFICATE FOR COMPLETED CLASS(ES): Upon completion of a live class (attendance + exit form) or online home study (passing quiz), a certificate of completion is provided to you via email for your records free of charge typically within 5-7 business days. If you have not received your certificate of completion after 7 business days, please let us know by emailing us at certificates@educationsinhair.com or texting 1-708-304-3104 • If you would like a paper copy of the certificate mailed to you via USPS mail, the charge will be $10 for a current class or home study. K. Samuel Educations in Hair LLC may take photographs during live shows, hands on classes or similar events. By signing up, you grant our organization permission to use your likeness in a photograph in any and all publications and commercial materials without payment or consideration made to you. Photographs taken at an event become the company’s property and will not be returned. You authorize us to use, edit, copy, publish or exhibit any photo for any lawful purpose. You waive the right to review any photograph or to obtain royalties from the photograph. Should you choose not to allow your photograph to be taken, please let Katie Jager or Becca Gonzales know the day of the event.
Miscellaneous
Because this is a learning environment, we request children are not present during the class.
We reserve the right to ask an attendee or guest to leave the room where the class is being held if they are being a distraction.
If you require a private room for nursing or pumping, please let one of our staff members know and we will try to accommodate to the best of our abilities.
Non-licensed guests are permitted, but there is a $35 per session of attendance.
